 | In 1890, the widow Allard-Milhomme added a brewery to the family farm. She calls this brewery Saint Joseph . Her eldest son, Pierre Allard follows her in this adventure while the three other sons continue to work on the farm. Pierre dies very young and Edmond, one of his brothers, takes over the brewery. The production is ongoing. stopped during the First World War following the requisition of equipment by the Germans. It will resume in 1923. It is Joseph, the son of Edmond, who then takes over the brewery. Joseph is killed in 1940. Edmond then calls on the husband of his daughter Marie-Thérèse, Jacques Groetembril, for the management of the brewery. In the mid-1980s, the brewery produced 7,000 hl. The most famous beer is Brunehaut 8. In 1990, the brewery was declared bankrupt, the son of the last brewer not wanting to take over.
