 | 1842 Edouard Caulier establishes his brewery in Neufville, near Soignies. In 1855 he acquires the Brasserie du Pont de Londres in Mons, which he entrusts management to his son Edmond. Faced with the growing importance of the Mons brewery , father and son changed places and Edouard moved to Mons with his family. Edmond bought a brewery in Brussels in addition to that in Neufville. He bought the Mons brewery on the death of his brother Antoine who had inherited it. When Edmond died in 1893, his children continued to operate the three breweries under the name Brasserie Caulier frères. The neufville site closed shortly before the Second World War. 1959 Brasserie Caulier SA. The same year it merged with the Imperial brewery. 1960 Merged with the Labor brasseries in Mons, < a href = "brasserie? APasser = Cousin de Rauw"> Cousin-De Rauw at Frameries and the Nouvelle Brasse rie Jack-Op in Werchter to form the Brasserie de Ghlin . The administration remained in Brussels but the brewery's production then shifted to Ghlin and the Brussels site closed definitively in 1969; that of Mons closed in the early 1960s.
