In 1903, the first industrial exploitation of the capture and bottling of the source of Bru was created by the municipality of Chevron. In 1925, it became the Compagnie Générale de Chevron SA which was bought in 1942 by the company Finance et Industrie. In 1981, the Spadel group took over the management of the Bru springs and in 1982 launched the Bru "pearl water ".
