![]() | According to the Almanacs of Commerce and Industry, J. Jordens-Scott appears for the first time in 1893 at 30 avenue de la Toison d'Or in Brussels, as a merchant in English wines and beers. In 1894, he added the tea trade. In 1895, he described himself as an English agent, merchant in English wines and beers, and teas. In addition to 30 rue de la Toison d'Or, he occupied the adjacent house at 27 rue Crespel. In 1908, he added the liqueur business and the house rue Crespel was sold. After the First World War, we find G. Jordens-Scott, a merchant in wines, liqueurs and English beers, still at the same address. In 1925, G.
