 | In 1909, Jules Seghers (°1864-+1913) opened his dairy on Wolvertemsesteenweg. On 15 November 1938, his two sons founded a SPRL which took the name Zuivelfabriek Seghers. In 1948, the Lactovita brand was launched; the dairy had the largest bottle steriliser in the world. In 1972, it employed 149 people and processed more than 100,000 litres of milk per day. The family business was sold to Lacsoons from Rotselaar in 1972. In the early 1990s, the dairy ceased its activity. Commercial Register Production Lactovita. | ||
