In 1950, the trade name Looza was chosen In 1958, the company Looza SA was created and the production of fruit juices was moved to Hoepertinge (Borgloon) At the end of 1987, an Iranian-American businessman, Abbas Bayat, bought the Belgian fruit juice producer Looza which was coveted by Artois. In 1993, he sold the business and its subsidiaries to the American group Dole which, a year later, sold them to Seagram. In 1998, PepsiCo bought Looza and Tropicana from Seagram 2000 Launch of the Tropicana brand in Belgium and Luxembourg. Looza is a Belgian affiliated company of Tropicana International, which in turn is a division of PepsiCo Inc. In the Borgloon factory, juices and nectars from concentrated fruit juice and pure juices are produced under the brands Looza and Tropicana.
