Brouwerij Lust "La Nouvelle Espérance" Courtrai | |||
In 1843, Emile Lust began producing beer. In 1861, his widow changed the name to Brasserie de la Nouvelle Espérance (Brewery of New Hope). Beer was brewed there until 1968 when the brewery was taken over by the Haecht brewery. All activity ceased in 1976, among other things because of the development of the Chaussée Romaine.
