 | The Minérale Hongo was produced in the 1950s and 1960s under the direction of Madame Hélène Michaux-Beckhaus, wife of the lawyer Marcel Michaux. The source was at the northern limit of their Hongo plantation, itself ten kilometers from Bukavu. In 2015, the company is still cited as a producer of mineral water.
