John Martin resells the Schweppes license held by Schweppes (Genval) in 1989 to the Cadbury group which creates the company Schweppes Belgium. It successively acquired the licenses in Belgium of Canada Dry in 1989 sold by Interbrew, of Gini the following year, of Oasis a year later and of Dr Pepper in 1996; and the franchises of Appletiser (apple juice) in 1994 and San Benedetto (water drawn from the Bonne Fontaine source in Genval, which takes its name from a technological agreement with the Italian mineral producer of the same name) in 1997. Le The Orangina-Schweppes group has been owned by the Japanese group Suntory since 2009. In 2014, bottling was relocated and the Genval site only serves as a storage and distribution site.
