Willems-Cornet. 1900-1904 Brasserie Willems Ed. 1905-1914 Brasserie Artois SA In 1954, bought the Brasserie et Malterie Van Tilt Soeurs in Louvain from which it took over the production of Sirène lemonade. In 1976, the Loburg was launched to compete with the luxury pilsner Tuborg and Carlsberg. In 1987, Artois merged with Jupille's Piedboeuf brewery to create the Interbrew brewing group for which it is currently one of the five production sites in Belgium. Following the closure of the Saint-Guibert brewery in 1996, the Leffe and Vieux-Temps beers are brewed in Louvain. Commercial Register H.R.
