In 1933, the Stassano brand was launched for their milk bottle, named after researcher Enrico Stassano who invented a pasteurization process. After the war, the milkman ventured into the field of long-life sterilized milk. He reserved the Stassano brand for his fresh milk and created a new brand for long-life milk: Stabilac. In 1979, Lacsoons was bought by the Belgian company Comelco, which was itself taken over in 1991 by the Dutch cooperative Campina. In 1995, production was stopped at the Rotselaar site and the activity was transferred to the Aalter site which will continue to sell the Stassano brand. Commercial Register H.R.
